3rd International Documentary Festival of Epirus
“WEST SIDE MOUNTAINS DOC FEST 2020”
The West side Mountains Doc Fest, already a Documentary Festival of Epirus, was born in Skoulikaria of the Municipality of Karaiskaki, as an International Documentary Festival, of an isolated area. It is already evolving into a leading cultural event, which covers almost the whole of Epirus with the participation, except the Municipality of Karaiskaki, and the Municipalities of Central Tzoumerka, North Tzoumerka, Pogoni, Preveza and Arta, where the closing ceremony will take place. 700 Greek and mainly foreign films with huge distinctions in the forums of the world cinema scene have applied to participate in our committees. Dozens of cultural associations, of all degrees, support our effort and we hope that next year even more regions and municipalities will participate, so that our festival takes its place among the most important independent Documentary festivals in Greece and beyond.
